Family Tree

Following the branches of a family tree can be a lot like reading a road map that goes off in a thousand different directions. Below I have posted three links to some of the most significant branches on my ancestral tree that outline my connection to the founder of Hartford Connection, Rev. Samuel Stone and to the Royal Family.

The first branch explains my connection to King William I, (William the Conqueror) who ruled England from 1066 until his death in 1087. As my 27th Great-grandfather, King William I is my most direct Royal ancestor because we are directly related through the births of sons and daughters.

The second branch explains my connection to Alfred the Great known as \”King of the Anglo-Saxsons.\” His rule represents the first unbroken line of Kings to rule the whole of England. He reigned from 871 until his death in 899. My ancestral connection to King Alfred includes sons, daughters, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The third branch explains my connection to the current ruler of England, Queen Elizabeth II, (Queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms). Elizabeth is my 27th Cousin who was born on April 21st, 1926 making her the second-oldest currently-serving state leader at 92 years of age. The Queen began her Royal reign on February 6th, 1952. My ancestral connection to Queen Elizabeth II includes sons, daughters, aunts, uncles and cousins.

All three of these family branches intersect through my 26th Great-grandfather, King Henry I, (son of William the Conqueror).
